BANGKOK - A Thailand government agency on Monday announced its approval of more than $2 billion in investments for new printed circuit board fabrication facilities through a joint venture of Zhen Ding Technology and Saha Pattana Interholding.
ZDT, the world's largest printed circuit board maker according to the NTI 100, will build new facilities to support an existing campus opened last fall.
Saha Pattana Interholding is a publicly traded Thai business investor and developer of industrial parks.
While the site for the latest project was not disclosed, the Thai govermnet said it is expected to generate 5,600 jobs.
