TOKYO – Japanese PCB manufacturer CMK reported an 8% year-over-year increase in revenue for the quarter ending on June 30, totaling ¥22.9 billion ($157.6 million).

The company said sales of automotive PCBs increased by 10% for the quarter, sales of PCBs for communication-related equipment (smartphones) surged by 115%, and sales of PCBs for other uses (including AV/digital home appliances, digital cameras, game consoles and other products) fell 4%.

The company maintains its financial forecast for the year, with revenue expected to increase 3.8% year-on-year to ¥94 billion ($647 million).
