ZHUHAI -- PCB fabricator Shenzhen Chongda Circuit Technology (Chongda Technology) has received environmental approvals for its planned printed circuit board manufacturing site in Zhuhai.

Zhuhai Chongda Circuit Technology, a wholly owned subsidiary of Chongda Technology, plans to build a massive PCB factory here on 400 acres here, capable of producing 6.4 million sq. m of boards a year.

The environmental assessment approval means Zhuhai Chongda can begin construction, which will be immediately launched, the company said.

The company's initial project is in production ramp. The future plan will increase the size of that initial output by more than two times.

The campus is expected to bring in more than 5 billion yuan ($800 million) in revenue a year.
