AURORA, CO – Advanced Circuits has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire certain assets from Micom Circuits, a printed circuit board fabricator based in New Brighton, MN.
All Micom Circuits personnel will be retained, although financial terms were not disclosed.
Micom Circuits was founded in 1965 and is a supplier to Raytheon, among others. Advanced Circuits said the deal strengthens its position in the complex medical and high-reliability, military/aerospace marketplace.
Micom is privately held, and has estimated annual revenues of less than $10 million.
"This agreement along with acquisitions in recent years solidifies Advanced Circuits investment in the U.S. economy with its commitment to 100% US based manufacturing," Advanced Circuits said in a press release.
Advanced Circuits is North America’s 3rd largest PCB fabricator, with sales of approximately $87.5 million for the year ended Dec. 31.
