LEOBEN, AUSTRIA – Printed circuit board manufacturer AT&S posted revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31 of €197.2 million ($215.9 million), up 5.3% year-over-year.
EBITDA for the three-month period was €47 million, a decrease of 14.5% compared to the same quarter in 2014. Profit for the period was €18.1 million, up 121% year-over-year.
For the nine-month period ended Dec. 31, revenue was €584.3 million, up 19.4% year-over-year. Growth was attributed to demand for printed circuit boards for mobile devices, as well as automotive applications.
EBITDA for the last nine months was €140.2 million, an increase of 10.2% compared to the same quarters in 2014. Profit for the period was €60.2 million, up 19.6% year-over-year. The company reported revenues for high-end HDI PCBs for the nine-month period rose 26.8% to €88.6 million.
“After a very positive first half-year, demand at the end of the third quarter showed some slight slowdown for mobile devices, said CEO Andreas Gerstenmayer. “Based on the first nine months, we were able to uphold the exceptionally high level of the previous year and once again outperformed the market, which only grew by an average of 1.5% in the same period.“
The company confirms full-year revenue guidance of €740 million.
