SYDNEY -- Altium reported fiscal first-quarter revenue rose 18% year-over-year to $17.2 million on a worldwide increase in demand.
Sales for the period ended Sept. 30 were up 14% to $13.3 million, and deferred revenue was up 13% to $30.7 million.
The Americas made up $4.76 million of the company's sales for the period, up 20%, followed by EMEA (up 21% to $4.21 million) and China (up 7% to $2.02 million). APAC excluding China was down 9% to $1.05 million.
A July 1 price increase for the company's flagship product Altium Designer did not materially diminish the number of licenses sold for the period and had a positive impact on revenue and sales, the company said.
