MIAMI – IEEE today reiterated the Mar 15 deadline for its Global Communications Conference.
IEEE Globecom 2010 will be held Dec. 6-10 in Miami. The event is expected to have more than 300 technical sessions, workshops, tutorials, forums, demonstrations and keynotes dedicated to the advance of the entire range of technologies, including the latest developments in networked and wireless multimedia communications.
Featured technical symposia include ad-hoc and sensor networking; communication and system security; communication theory; communication QoS, reliability and modeling; communication software, services and multimedia applications; next-generation networking; optical networks and systems; signal processing for communications; wireless communications; wireless networking, and selected areas in communications.
The conference has scheduled presentations from communications experts like MIT, Stanford, Princeton, Northwestern, Georgia Institute of Technology, the University of Edinburgh, Cisco, Intel, and Microsoft.
Tutorials include cognitive radio, adaptive wireless communications systems, wireless MediaNets, cooperative communications and next-generation mobile applications, as well as workshops discussing socially-aware and femtocell networks, broadband wireless access and pervasive group communications.
