ATLANTA, GA – PCB West, the largest conference and exhibition for printed circuit board design, fabrication and assembly in the Silicon Valley, welcomes the return of Dr. Eric Bogatin to its technical conference program.
Dr. Bogatin will present a pair of free one-hour talks on signal integrity and design engineering. SI/PI/EMC Myth-Conceptions Which May Screw up Your Next Design presents five common problems, including current flow in a transmission line, the design of a differential pair, reducing ground bounce in a package, selecting decoupling capacitors and dispersion from non-TEM behavior of microstrips. Also that day, Rule #9: The Most Important Rule for All Engineers sums up the one principle Dr. Bogatin says is “most important” and that every engineer should apply to all activities.
The presentations are aimed at PCB designers, SI engineers and system designers.
Both talks are part of the annual Free Wednesday series of presentations taking place Sept. 14 at the Santa Clara (CA) Convention Center. Some 15 free presentations in all will be offered, ranging from PCB materials to assembly reliability to the state of the domestic board fabrication industry.
PCB West will be held Sept. 13-15 in Santa Clara, CA. The event includes a three-day technical conference and one-day exhibition, to be held at the Santa Clara (CA) Convention Center.
Now in its 25th year, this year’s show will feature 110 booths showcasing the leading companies in the PCB industry, including all the top CAD and CAM vendors and top names in printed circuit fabrication and electronics assembly. The September 2015 event attracted more than 1,900 attendees.
PRINTED CIRCUIT DESIGN & FAB and CIRCUITS ASSEMBLY magazines are media partners for the event.
