Mentor Graphics Debuts FloTherm 3D

Published: 25 October 2010

FloTHERM 3D computational fluid dynamics software identifies where heat flow congestion occurs in the electronic design and why, and identifies thermal shortcuts. Is said to reduce thermal verification by 33% and reduce PCB design respins by 500%. Imports XML model and geometry data for integration into existing data flows. Includes direct interface to Expedition PCB design platform.
