WERTHEIM, GERMANY – atg Luther & Maelzer GmbH, part of Mycronic Group, has moved to their newly completed facility in Wertheim, Germany. The new facility has proved to be very successful in terms of improved capacity, efficiency, and work environment.

The new Wertheim building provides space to double production capacity and reduce the environmental footprint. In addition to the production department, the new location would also provide a dynamic, people-centric work environment for all Wertheim-based team members.

From the start of planning to the completion of construction, this entire project took just over 18 months. The management of this project was done in a very professional way from beginning to end, leading to good control of time plans and costs. In parallel to running this project, they were able to increase the production capacity from the old facility in order to meet the increased customer demands.

The new Wertheim site includes a three-story office building that offers a mix of open spaces and smaller rooms for quiet work, wide areas for interaction, including a canteen and a gravity point. The production hall features a large open space shop floor, and thanks to a mezzanine level, it also includes semi-integrated meeting spaces, labs, and workspaces for machine pre-assembly.

“The modern design, spacious areas, and high-quality technical equipment offer more space for creative work and improved infrastructure. This move marks an important step in our development, and we look forward to upcoming projects and challenges in this new environment!” said Matthias Karlin, Director, Global Services, Global Technologies, PCB Test.

“I like the new modern building with a much quieter working atmosphere. The new office is bigger, brighter, and more friendly. The larger production hall is the base for our planned growth. It's fun to work here. I’m looking confidently into the future,” said Eric Bohnenkämper, Purchasing, Buyer, Global Technologies, PCB Test.

“We all have eagerly been awaiting the move to the new building, and finally, it started mid-January. We are especially happy about our modern office equipment with ergonomic furniture and a lot of pleasant gadgets like fully-automatic coffee machines and table tennis. From my point of view, the new building is a milestone in our company's history and enables us to make the next steps in our development,” said Kerstin Frink, HR Manager, Global Technologies, PCB Test.

“After months of intensive preparation, all employees are delighted to have finally arrived in the new building. The new building offers modern workplaces, a large production hall, as well as new and bright social rooms and many other benefits. We are looking forward to the future!” said Johanna Tretschock. Executive Assistant, Global Technologies, PCB Test.

LOS ANGELES, CA – Duro, a leading PLM platform for hardware engineering, today announced its technology partner program and initial members. The partner ecosystem Duro has and continues to build enables its customers to create a complete digital thread for their products, from initial design all the way through manufacturing, maintenance, service, and retirement.

“Our partner program reflects how the Duro platform itself is built — flexible, connected, and ready out-of-the-box,” said Michael Corr, CEO of Duro. “Our collaborative model helps customers avoid vendor lock-in, eliminate information silos, and create a digital thread that supports agile product development and faster delivery.”

The evolving hardware landscape has led companies to demand a PLM that integrates easily with other key systems. Information silos—where departments operate in isolation without shared data—create manual work, slow collaboration, and hinder traceability. This leads to delayed or missed product launches, especially in highly regulated industries like aerospace, defense, and medical hardware.

“Tulip’s mission to bring visibility and adaptability to frontline operations aligns with Duro’s vision for connected product development,” said Natalia Gutierrez, ecosystem product marketing manager at Tulip. Together, we’re enabling manufacturers to bridge the gap between design and production, transforming how product data is consumed on the shop floor. By connecting engineering and operations in real time, we’re helping teams move faster, reduce errors, and bring better products to market.”

Unlike legacy PLMs that restrict partner access, Duro makes integrations more visible, easier to adopt, and supported with customer-facing materials. Its open GraphQL API allows third parties to build custom integrations that deliver added value. This flexibility has earned Duro the nickname “The Programmer’s PLM.” The result is faster onboarding, quicker time to value, and better information flow across teams—breaking down silos and enabling a holistic product view.

Duro helps its partners drive demand, not just make technical connections. The program also provides partners with joint co-marketing and go-to-market support, including co-branded webinars and thought leadership content, video production (in-person and virtual), social and email cross-promotion, shared customer success stories, and website presence and backlinking.

“First Resonance helps manufacturers move faster by connecting real-time data across engineering and operations,” said Karan Talati, CEO & Co-Founder at First Resonance. “Integrating ION with Duro PLM bridges the gap between product design and factory workflows, creating a powerful feedback loop that enables faster iterations, fewer errors, and greater agility. We’re proud to partner with Duro to modernize the end-to-end manufacturing stack.”
