ABERDEEN, MD – The SMTA Capital Chapter is beginning a series on printed circuit board design tools.
The first session is scheduled for Mar. 26 at Harford Community College here. It includes the presentation RF/Microwave Board Level Design Tools for Wireless Communications.
The presentation will be an overview of Advanced Design System and Genesys design platforms, covering their applicability to high-frequency surface mount design for the wireless communications. The session will be presented by Russ Kramer, who specializes in IC business development for Agilent EEs of EDA.
The tools being presented are geared to help correct board design to minimize rework costs later.
The meeting is $20 for members and $30 for non-members, and is scheduled from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM.
