FRAMINGHAM, MA – Smartphone shipments are expected to grow 3.1% in 2016, a substantial slowdown from the 10.5% growth in 2015 and 27.8% in 2014, says International Data Corp. Shipments are expected to hit 1.48 billion in 2016 and grow to 1.84 billion in 2020.
