WASHINGTON – The latest round of tariffs on imports on products made in China will raise the duty on printed circuit board and assemblies to 25%.

The so-called List 3 increase applies to a number of Chinese-origin products as cited on US Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTSUS). They include printed circuit boards, printed circuit assemblies, disk drive storage units, panel and screen assemblies, and other components of electronic appliances.

The affected items are subject to a 25% additional duty rate if they enter the US on or after May 10. Prior to the order, those items were subject to a 10% duty.

Exceptions are List 3 products exported to the US before May 10, and having entered the US before Jun. 1. Those products remain subject to the 10% duty rate.
