FREDERICKSBURG, VA – IPC has awarded its first IPC-1071 Qualified Manufacturers Listing

to Colonial Circuits.

The printed circuit board manufacturer underwent an audit based on IPC-1071, Best Industry Practices for Intellectual Property Protection in Printed Board Manufacturing.

The IP standard covers physical and information security, employee data access, computer networks, supply chain management, destruction of scrap material and other issues.

Under the QML certification program, Colonial Circuits met the requirements for Level 3 status, an advanced level for military, government and commercial IP, and is now listed as an IPC-trusted source.
