LIMBURG, GERMANY -- PCB fabrication equipment supplier Gardien has established an in-house quality assurance and test facility here, the company said today. The new facility gives Gardien "much needed room" to expand its business and will support global delivery of new equipment as well as local offering of quality assurance services to the PCB manufacturers.

Gardien makes and services test equipment for printed circuit boards. It was formed in July 2008 through the acquisition of Mania’s Outsourcing & Service Businesses.

In a press release, Group COO Roland Valentini said, “I believe this move is testament to our efforts as it is a direct result of the need for more space as we expand our equipment R&D work and introduce a new range of flying probes to the market, we continue to develop and serve our existing equipment lines as well as now bringing the quality assurance and testing services to our European customers.”
