MODENA, ITALY -- Techboard PCB Engineering has completed its acquisition of Syac, a developer and manufacturer of the branded video surveillance systems.

The move completes the takeover of Syac's production and staff, begun at the end of 2012. Terms were not disclosed.

Syac, now renamed Syac-TB, was founded in 1988 and builds the DigiEye video surveillance system for closed caption TV.

Techboard was founded in 1979 and has factories in Modena and Shenzhen.
