MUMBAI -- A trio of Indian scientists have reportedly developed a non-toxic method for recycling printed circuit boards.

Researchers at the Institute of Chemical Technology and the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre used high-energy electron beams to degrade PCBs to the point where they could be recycled. The method releases no effluents or toxic gases in the air, the researchers said.
