Doosan Ramping China CCL Plant

CHANGSHU, CHINA -- Doosan Electro-Materials reportedly has launched copper-clad laminate production at its plant here, with capacity slated to double by next year, according to published reports.

The company will ramp monthly capacity from 300,000 units by year-end to to 600,000 units in 2012, DigiTimes is reporting.

The factory is producing CCL for China-based handset manufacturers including Shanghai Unitech Electronics, Tripod Technology, Unimicron Technology, Plotech Technology and Taiwan PCB Techvest, DigiTimes said.

Doosan Electro-Materials also has five sites in Korea.
