WESTPORT, CT -- Compass Diversified Holdings reported a net loss of$29.4 million during its third quarter ended Sept. 30. The company said its results were boosted by its two PWB fabricator subsidiaries: Circuit Express and Advanced Circuits.

The holding company reported net income of $2.8 million for the year-ago quarter. Net sales were up 42% to $460.8 million.

Third quarter cash flow was "positively impacted" by the Advanced Circuits subsidiaries, the company said.

The company does not break out its subsidiaries' revenues. When it acquired Circuit Express for $15.6 million, Compass said the printed circuit board fabricator's revenue was $16.4 million in 2009.
