Merix, Viasystems Merger Approved

BEAVERTON, OR – Merix’s shareholders voted today to approve its previously announced merger with Viasystems Group.

After completion of the merger, Merix will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Viasystems. The merger remains subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close in the next few days.

The combined organization will provide services and technology for both quick-turn prototyping and high-volume PCB manufacturing in Asia and North America.
