IRAPUATO, MEXICO – MacDermid Enthone Industrial Solutions deepened its relationship with Recubrimientos Metalicos de Mexico through a strategic investment in RM Plating, a surface finishing provider located here. Financial terms were not disclosed.

RM Plating began production in February and is equipped with four advanced plating lines to serve industries including automotive, construction and power distribution. Services include zinc, zinc-nickel, zinc flake and nickel-tin coatings.

“Our investment in RM Plating underscores our commitment to driving the advancement of surface finishing technology,” said Glen Breault, vice president of North America for MacDermid Enthone. “This collaboration highlights our dedication to supporting both multinational and family-owned plating businesses as they grow and innovate.”

The fully operational facility is expected to strengthen supply-chain capabilities and set new benchmarks in surface finishing across Latin America.
