HOA BINH CITY, VIETNAM -- Meiko Group has allocated an additional $15 million toward its new plant in Vietnam to expand production capacity due to rising demand for printed circuit boards in the ASEAN region.

The printed circuit board fabricator has rented some 9.2 hectares for a new $200 million campus announced earlier this spring.

Meiko began investing in Vietnam in 2006 with a factory in Thach That Industrial Park and has three plants in the country. It also has five factories in Japan and two in China and is among the NTI-100 list of the largest PCB manufacturers.
