SINGAPORE – Trident is in the process of constructing a new factory in Thailand. The new factory, which will be the company's third in the country, will increase monthly production capacity by 4 million sq. ft., and will result in Trident's total production capacity exceeding 10 million sq. ft.

The new production capacity of the third factory will allow for the fabrication of 5G, server, low-orbit satellite and other Netcom boards, plus Mini LED TV and non-TV products, as well as serving Japanese, European, Korean and other automotive board customers.

Trident saw revenue of 14.906 billion yuan last year, and while the weakness of the terminal consumer market and continued strains on the supply chain mean the year could start slow for the company, Trident expects that the economic environment will recover in the second half of the year, which will drive the operation to regain growth momentum. With the new production capacity of the new factory soon to be in place, the company said it is cautiously optimistic in its full-year operating outlook.
