XINFENG COUNTY, CHINA – Kinwong Electronics held a groundbreaking ceremony this week for its new PCB manufacturing facility in China's Jiangxi Province.
Liu Shaobai, chairman of Kinwong Electronics, said that the ceremony marks that the project's entry into the substantive construction stage, and said the factory should be finished by the end of the year.
The project will be constructed in two phases, with a total investment of about 3 billion yuan. The facility will use advanced technology, intelligence, and high-precision manufacturing equipment to create a high-level multi-layer PCB R&D and production base with a high degree of automation, intelligence, production efficiency, and cost advantages, Liu said.
In 2021, Kinwong Electronics ranked seventh in the top 100 comprehensive PCB list in mainland China, and ranks third in the industry among domestic-funded enterprises. Including the Xinfeng project, the company has six production bases in China. In 2022, its operating income exceeded 10 billion yuan, and it projects double-digit growth this year.
