MILWAUKEE – RBP Chemical Technology today announced Michael Carano as vice president of technology and business development.

Carano will lead RBP’s product and business development activities in the electronics, medical and mining industries worldwide.

Carano served as global director of R&D and applications engineering at the OM Group Electronic Chemicals, and before that, Electrochemicals, which OMG acquired in 2007. He has published more than 150 technical articles and holds nine US and 22 foreign patents. He was inducted into the IPC Hall of Fame in 2014 and has served as an IPC board member since 2004. Carano also founded and chaired the IPC Process Consumables subcommittee and is currently chairman of the IPC Ambassadors Council, helping to author the IPC Technology Roadmap. Michael Carano
