Hirose Develops KP13B Nano SIM Card Connector

KP13B Nano SIM card connector reportedly reduces required PCB mounting space by up to 26%.

Simplifies designs in digital cameras, digital video cameras, laptops, printers, smartphones and televisions. Has card detection feature and is designed to prevent incorrect card insertion; ensures proper mating and protects contacts from damage. Offers 5,000 mating cycles. Exposed terminal design simplifies examination of connector contacts via AOI. Is 13.6mm x 11.5mm x 1.18mm. Has operating temp. range of -30° to 85°C, a rated current of 0.5 A and a rated voltage of 10V.
