GARBSEN, GERMANYLPKF Laser & Electronics raised its forecast for the current fiscal year, predicting sales of at least $89.9 million.

The previous 2010 forecast was $79.3 million.

This upward revision is based in part on strong growth in the first six months as a result of sustained large orders, the firm notes.

LPKF manufactures machines and laser systems used in electronics fabrication, the automotive sector, and the production of solar cells.
