ST. LOUIS – Viasystems Group reported fourth quarter 2014 net sales of $308 million, a year-over-year increase of 1.5%, and a sequential increase of 2.9%.

Adjusted EBITDA in the quarter ended Dec. 31 was $61.8 million, or 20.1% of net sales, compared with $37.9 million, or 12.5% of net sales, in the same period of 2013.

Operating income was $34.6 million, or 11.2% of net sales, compared to $11.7 million in the previous year’s fourth quarter.

PCB segment net sales for the fourth quarter were $265.7 million, up nearly 3% year-over-year.

Assembly segment net sales were $42.3 million, down 6.8% compared to the fourth quarter of 2013.

‟The settlement of our business interruption insurance claim certainly helped our reported profit for the period,” said David M. Sindelar, CEO of Viasystems, “but even without that favorable impact, we had a solid quarter, growing net sales both sequentially and year-over-year.”

Viasystems provides multilayer printed circuit boards and electro-mechanical solutions.
