TAIPEI -- For many PCB suppliers, Apple is the gift that keeps in giving.

Flexium Interconnect reported net profits of NT$919 million ($29 million) on consolidated revenues of NT$5.31 billion. Both marks set quarterly records for the flexible circuit manufacturer.

Apple, which rolled out its newest smartphone, the iPhone 6, in the quarter, is rumored to be a major Flexium customer.

For the year, consolidated revenues fell 3.9% to NT$13.1 billion, while net profits declined 22.9% to NT$1.49 billion, on changes to product mix. Flexium is moving toward finer-line PCBs and automated roll-to-roll production.

The companu expects first-quarter sales and profits to rise over last year's.
