NEW BEDFORD, MA -- Epec Engineered Technologies acquired FM Circuits in a deal between two printed circuit board manufacturers whose combined industry experience is more than 90 years. It is reportedly the 13th such deal Epec's owners have conducted, which generally means the acquired company's plant is closed and its customers are transferred to Epec. It was not clear whether FM would remain open.

Brooklyn-based FM Circuits is a fabricator of single- and double-sided printed circuit boards. Epec builds and brokers boards.

Ed McMahon, President and CEO of Epec, commented, “We are very excited and welcome FM Circuits and their customers into the growing Epec family.  Greg Guido and his family have built a business with a tremendous reputation for putting the customer first, which seamlessly fits into Epec‘s core values.”

president and CEO Greg Guido said in a press release “After significant strategic thinking and a view to our customers' long-term success, I am confident this opportunity will enhance our customer support, from new product introduction through volume production.”
