CHANDLER, AZ — Isola Group's technical staff is offering a conversion service for printed circuit board fabricators using laminates for radio frequency and mm-wave applications.

The global 24-hour design review service will enable PCB fabricators to transition their current RF substrates to Isola’s RF products and is designed to eliminate production backlogs caused by the current shortages of RF substrates.

The company also announced it has increased production of its RF-related materials.

Isola said it would respond to customer requests within 24 hours of the inquiry and work to provide on a turnkey basis all of the calculations, testing, characterizations and material recommendations to assist PCB fabricators and OEMs to convert to Isola’s materials.

The recent high demand for RF and high frequency material, particularly from China for its 4G buildout, has strained capacity at some of the larger suppliers.
