TAIPEI -- Foxconn Electronics today reported December consolidated revenues of NT$515.6 billion (US$16.11 billion), a new record for the world's largest EMS/ODM. 

Sales for the month grew 0.15% sequentially and 5% year-over-year on higher shipments of consumer and telecom devices, in particular Apple's new iPhone 6.

It was the second straight monthly high for Foxconn.

For the quarter, the company reported consolidated revenues of NT$1.499 trillion, up 57.7% sequentially and 12.8% over last year. For the year, consolidated revenues were up 6.5% to NT$4.21 trillion, another new high.

Foxconn (Hon Hai) is the parent company of Zhen Ding, one of the world's five largest PCB fabricators.
