MELVILLE, NY -- Park Electrochemical said today it is conducting a “strategic evaluation,” including a possible sale, of its core printed circuit materials business.
Park generates most of its revenue from the PCB materials unit, which has operations in Singapore; Lannemezan, France; Fullerton and Anaheim, CA, and Tempe, AZ.
The company said in a news release that if a sale were completed it would retain its aerospace manufacturing units in Singapore and Newton, Kansas, and its headquarters in Melville. In a statement, Park said it is evaluating whether a "new owner can apply focus, capability and resources to allow the Electronics Business to realize its full potential and provide it with the future it deserves."
Park expects to conclude the strategic evaluation of the Electronics unit in current quarter ending Mar. 3.
