SAN JOSE — Worldwide semiconductor equipment bookings were $9.89 billion in the first quarter, up 27% from a year ago and down 5% sequentially.
Worldwide semiconductor manufacturing equipment billings reached $10.15 billion in the quarter, up 9% sequentially and 39% from a year ago, SEMI added.
The data are gathered jointly with the Semiconductor Equipment Association of Japan (SEAJ) from over 100 global equipment companies that provide data on a monthly basis.
