SAN ANTONIO – The Indian electronics industry is expected to reach $94 billion in 2015, increasing annually about 10%, according to Frost & Sullivan.

“The Indian electronic system design and manufacturing and semiconductor industry is on a growth trajectory of 9.9% CAGR to register a turnover of $94 billion in 2015 from $65 billion in 2011,” said Satya Gupta of the India Semiconductor Association.

Products are expected to account for $79 billion, while services will account for $15 billion in 2015.

Imports are expected to increase to $42 billion in 2015 from $28 billion in 2011, says Gupta.
