FRANKFURT -- Germany's PCB market is forecast to grow 16% to 1.3 billion euros, a leading local trade group says.

The German semiconductor market is expected to grow 8% to 600 million euros, ZVEI said.

The trade group cited improving market conditions, noting the recession is over.

"While the growth will take place at a low production base, we are quite optimistic that the crisis can be definitively behind us," said ZVEI PCB and Electronic Systems chairman Dr. Wolfgang Bochtler.
