Global semiconductor sales reached $72.7 billion in October, rising 4.7% from September and 27.2% year over year, according to new WSTS data released by the Semiconductor Industry Association. Demand strength in the Americas and Asia Pacific continued to drive the market, with all major regions posting month-to-month growth.

SIA noted that the WSTS autumn forecast now projects global semiconductor revenue to grow 22.5% this year to $772.2 billion and approach $1 trillion in 2026, a substantial upgrade from earlier estimates. Year-to-year regional gains were strongest in the Americas at 59.6%, followed by Asia Pacific/All Other at 24.8% and China at 18.5%.
