FRANKFURT, GERMANY – Printed circuit board sales among the Germany region nations experienced a December revenue increase of 13% year-over-year. New orders increased 45% compared to last year, added ZVEI.

The book-to-bill ratio reached 1.20, the trade group said. The ratio is calculated by dividing the value of boards ordered (in euros) by the value of boards shipped.

Overall 2017 sales grew 9.3% compared to 2016.  

The number of employees rose 7.5% year-over-year during December compared to December 2016.
