LEOBEN, AUSTRIA – AT&S reported revenue of EUR 489.4 million for the first three quarters of its fiscal 2015, up 8.5% year-over-year.
EBITDA was EUR 127.3 million, up 27.1% for the period ended Dec. 31. The printed circuit board manufacturer’s gross profit was 117.1 million, up 25.1% year-over-year.
"The [fiscal] third quarter is traditionally one of the strongest for AT&S," said CEO Andreas Gerstenmayer. "Based on exceptionally strong Christmas business with mobile devices and a continuously positive development in the Industrial, Automotive and Medical segments, the resulting full capacity utilization and a nearly optimal product mix, we have accomplished one of our best quarterly results to date."
Mobile Devices and Substrates, which currently accounts for 56.7% of the group's revenue, increased revenue 10% in the first three quarters, to EUR 277.6 million. Industrial and Automotive (including medical) achieved an increase in revenues of 7.5% to EUR 210.2 million in the reporting period.
Management expects normal seasonal development with reduced yet good demand for mobile devices for the March quarter and continued strong demand in the industrial, automotive and medical segments.
AT&S expects revenue of EUR 623 million to EUR 633 million for the full financial year, up 6% to 7%.
