HOOSICK FALLS, NY -- Oak-Mitsui Technologies will close its facility here by February and consolidate production in its newly expanded plant in Malaysia.

Some 29 employees will be affected by the decision, Oak-Mitsui said. Employees were notified during a group meeting on Nov. 7.

While production at the site is scheduled to cease, the materials supplier will maintain some inventory for quickturn requests. Oak-Mitsui manufactures its FaradFlex line of embedded capacitor printed circuit board material in the New York plant.

Oak-Mitsui's aluminum bonded copper facility will continue operation in Hoosick Falls.
