AALBORG, DENMARK -- A small fire in a copper plating line at PrintcaGraphic's

printed circuit board fabrication plant here has stopped production, the company said. The fire, which occured in a plating tank, was extinguished by the local fire department and no staff sustained injuries.

Fumes from the fire caused some smoke damage in the chemistry area, and a cleaning procedure is necessary to make the department operative.

The company is conducting an assessment of its plating process and could not indicate when production would restart.

PrintcaGraphic employs 50 workers at the site.
