ST. PAUL, MN -- 3M today reported third-quarter sales at its Electronics and Energy business unit grew 3.8% in the September quarter. Sales for the unit reached $1.4 billion for the period, as increases in the Asia Pacific, Latin America/Canada and EMEA regions offset a decline in the US.
Operating income was $300 million, up 3.2% year-on-year, and the operating margin was 20.7%.
Overall sales grew 5.6% year-on-year to $7.9 billion.
3M makes flexible printed circuit boards and phototools among other PCB related products.
