TAIPEI -- Foxconn (Hon Hai) reported consolidated revenue fell 1.7% year-over-year to NT$300.3 billion ($10 billion) in July on lower demand for PCs.

Year to-date sales are down 8.8% to NT$2 trillion.

Foxconn is a major supplier to HP, Dell and Apple, all three of which have seen worldwide shipments decline this year.

Foxconn did see significant growth in networking/communication product shipments, according to reports.

Hon Hai is the parent of Zhen Ding, the world's sixth largest printed circuit board fabricator, according to the annual N.T. Information NTI-100, to be published by PCD&F next month.
