KYOTO, JAPAN – Kyocera concluded a share transfer agreement with Toppan Printing Co. and NEC to acquire all shares of the printed circuit board manufacturing company NEC Toppan Circuit Solutions.
The deal will be effective Oct. 1.
The agreement is a result of growing demand for telecommunications infrastructure equipment, and digital consumer electronics, centered on smartphones and mobile computing tablets, says Kyocera.
No financial terms were disclosed.
