SAN JOSE, CA – Sanmina Corp. reported revenue for the fiscal third-quarter ended June 29 of $1.49 billion, up 4.2% sequentially and down 3.9% year-over-year.
GAAP net income was $18.7 million, up an increase of 110.1% year-over-year.
GAAP operating income for the period was $35.7 million, or 2.4% percent of revenue, compared to $35.4 million, or 2.3% of revenue, for the third quarter of fiscal 2012.
For the first nine months of fiscal 2013, net sales were $4.4 billion, down 2.3% year-over-year. For the period, net income was $40.6 million, an increase of 152.1% year-over-year.
"Our outlook for the fourth quarter is modest growth with further improvements in our operating model," said Jure Sola, chairman and CEO of Sanmina.
For the fiscal fourth quarter, the electronics manufacturer expects revenue between $1.475 billion and $1.525 billion.
