SEOUL -- Contrary to published reports, LG Innotek does not plan to sell its printed circuit board fabrication unit.

The Korea IT Times on Tuesday quoted investment banking sources as saying LG would dispose of the PCB division, along with its films and tapes materials unit and auto motor division. That report is wrong, however, a company spokesperson told PCD&F.

"The article is not true. LG Innotek does not have any plan to sell printed circuit board fabrication unit," Jack Jung, a member of LG Innotek's public relations team told PCD&F.

LG's PCB unit was 34th largest in the world in 2011, with sales of $475 million, according to the NTI 100.
