CASTELFIDARDO, AN, ITALY – Somacis Spa has acquired fellow PCB fabricator Hallmark Circuits for an undisclosed sum.
In a statement, Somacis chief executive Giovanni Tridenti said the move to acquire San Diego-based Hallmark will "better serve our customers’ advanced technology printed circuit board requirements."

Hallmark has outstanding employees and with our plans to make further investments, we will be expanding Hallmark’s capability and capacity to meet our customers’ growing requirement,” Tridenti said.
“We believe Somacis’ technology, financial strength and global footprint along with their outstanding reputation for advanced technology printed circuit board manufacturing and their commitment to expansion will bring our customers the best solution to their future printed circuit board needs” said Hallmark CEO Tom White.
The acquisition gives Somacis its first plant in the US. It also has sites in Italy and China.
