MARIEHALLSVAGEN, SWEDEN -- NCAB Group has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of the shares in P.D. Circuits, a deal that pushes the board distributor over the $100 million mark in revenues.
Terms were not disclosed, and the deal will close by the end of September, pending regulatory approvals.
PD Circuits is based in New Hampshire and has operations in southern China and Hong Kong.
Founded in 1993, the privately held NCAB says it had sales of 80 million euros last year, with 13 locations and 210 employees, 70 in China. The PD acquisition will push its sales over $100 million.
“I’m excited about this new chapter in the 22 year history of PD Circuits," said David Wolff, president of PD Circuits. "Being selected by NCAB to be their US team is a great compliment. It’s a testament to the consistent superior performance upon which our customers have come to rely. Joining forces with NCAB combines two can-do cultures and expands our resources to support our customers. Our entire team looks forward to growing our business in North America as part of the NCAB Group.”
“I'm extremely happy for this next major step in NCAB's development. NCAB Group and P.D. Circuits have the same business concept and customer driven organization and perhaps, most importantly, we have the same way of thinking regarding quality, the fundament of all PCB production,” said Hans Stahl, CEO at NCAB Group.
