TOKYO -- OKI has finalized an agreement to acquire Tanaka Kikinzoku Kogyo's printed circuit board business in an all-stock deal.

Under terms of the agreement, which will close Oct. 1, Tanaka Kikinzoku will set up a new company consisting of the PCB business. OKI will then take an 80% stake in the new company.

OKI has been a board fabricator since 1965, and more recently expanded into electronics manufacturing services (EMS). Tanaka Kikinzoku launched its bare board unit in 1970 and is a major supplier to the aerospace industry.

OKI has set an EMS sales goal of 50 billion yen ($627 million) in fiscal 2015.
