PETACH-TIKVA, ISRAEL -- Eltek has received a $838,000 order from a US medical device manufacturer, the rigid-flex circuit board fabricator said today.
The order is for printed circuit boards for use in advanced medical devices. Deliveries are expected to take place between May and October 2012.
Total sales to this customer in 2011 were $1.4 million and reached $600,000 in the first quarter of 2012.
Eltek Chief executive Arieh Reichart said, "I am proud that Eltek was selected once again to be a supplier of PCBs for use in advanced medical devices. The new frame order is in addition to the $2.1 million frame order we received from another US medical customer that was announced earlier this month. These orders represent continuing market recognition of the high quality and reliability of our products. We are focused on the medical and defense global markets as part of our long-term business plan."
